Milwaukee Bucks

The Record Projection: 45-37 of fromal The Bet: Prevent but lean under
To give over bettors a payout, the Milwaukee Bucks would want to acquire six more games in 2017-18 than they did throughout the 2016-17 campaign. That is not an irrational jump for such a young and talented group, but it is still a bit unrealistic–even at the weakened Eastern Conference.
This roster is pervaded by upside. Just imagine how great Giannis Antetokounmpo, Khris Middleton, Malcolm Brogdon, Jabari Parker and Thon Maker’s heart may become. Now throw D.J. Wilson, Tony Snell and Greg Monroe to the equation.
But questions persist.
Parker may not go back to the lineup until after the All-Star break as he rehabs the second torn ACL of his basketball career, and that puts an inordinate amount of strain on Antetokounmpo or among the unproven youngsters to shoulder minutes at power forward.
Maker is by no means a lock to be valuable in 2017-18, and regression could hit Brogdon following his Rookie of the Year campaign.
The Bucks will be enjoyable. They should be considered a playoff lock. But their development may not be as fast as some expect unless all of the key pieces stay healthy and don’t induce the coaching staff to rely on a less exciting bench.
